Aug 26, 2008·It's not good practice to draw blood without gloves, but due to time pressures and trying to take care of as many patients as possible, a lot of medical professionals slack off in this area. This probably places your doctor at more serious risk than you. Doctors and nurses don't want to get sick any more than their patients do.
